An older picture of Jannat al-Baqi, the famed graveyard next to the Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, which contains the graves of many A'immah, Sahabah, and other notables of the city. This picture shows the extent of the graveyard; I will be posting some more recent pics of Baqi soon, Inshallah!

The glow of the setting sun behind the Masjid al-Nabawi in Madina al-Munawwara.

A very unusual picture of the cloth of the Ka'abah being changed. One can easily see the structural pattern of the stones that are the building blocks of this simple yet magnificent edifice!

What better picture to start this Blog with than the House of Allah! Possibly my favourite picture of the Holy Kaaba, I simply love the atmosphere in this photograph, which seems to draw one into the picture, and takes us away to a different dimension.
Az-Zukhruf is the 43rd sura of the Holy Qur'an with 89 ayaat contained therein. The Arabic word Az-Zukhruf can be translated as Embellishments or <Ornaments of Luxury>. The reason for my choosing this as the name of my BlogSite is simple - I firmly believe that our community is embellished by way of having the Holy Qur'an revealed to our beloved Prophet. This divine book is the real ornament of luxury for us, and is in fact priceless!
